| Description | This UNIX shell script is used to monitor backups running longer than anticipated. If a backup job runs longer that the threshold provided to the script, a mail is to sent to the Netbackup administrator. The administrator is then required to investigate if this job is hung or just moving massive amount of data. Restore/dublication jobs are not monitored.Treshold vaule is specifyed in second as a parameter to the script. 1 hour = 3600 seconds24 hour = 86400 seconds |
